“If you think good design is expensive, you should look at the cost of bad design.” – Dr. Ralph Speth

Good design works for you, and your beautiful, chaotic, extraordinary life.

Is this thing on?

I came across an Instagram post that made me pause the other day. Amidst the impeccably polished, wonderfully curated cacophony of aesthetically pleasing, meticulously designed interiors, was a post of just text. Generally speaking, a post with just text usually catches my attention.

The perfect home is something that most people aspire to, but very few can actually achieve – that is, without a little professional help along the way. What does an interior designer actually do, and how can one help you achieve your dream home?

You may have lived in a home for years, but somehow it still feels incomplete. It’s furnished and lived-in, but it could just be lacking those finishing touches that transform a house into a home. Enter the world of accessories.

Nature has always inspired design of every kind, but even more so throughout the last two years, as we increasingly seek comfort, simplicity, and a slower pace in the face of a frantic, pandemic-fueled world outside.

I’ll be home for Christmas, and this year, it’ll be a serene one.

If you’re reading this, you’ve likely been there. Tired. Overwhelmed, over-budget, and underprepared…

We had the great pleasure of working with Lisa and Ryan on our vintage home! The worked entailed a complete renovation of the basement, furniture selection and decor throughout, and custom designed millwork in select rooms to improve the overall functionality in our compact home.

Simply put, Lisa is inherently gifted in design and decor. Most impressive, she provided solutions to issues we hadn’t yet had the foresight to recognize. Lisa was patient with our decision-making process, and exceptionally gracious in fielding our many emails and questions. Ryan and his team worked tirelessly, stayed on schedule, maintained a clean work area, and were always available. Both Lisa and Ryan are experts in this field, they made our home everything that we needed it to be and more.

Thank you for all of your hard work and for making the process and pandemic disruption quite painless. If we ever have another design project to take on Lisa and Ryan will be our first call!"

"It truly is better than we could have ever imagined, and to this day we still marvel at our space.
